I’m David, and I’ve been doing exactly that for over a decade.

How I got here

I’ve been a writer for over ten years, and a dedicated fintech writer for the last five.

Before that, I worked in broadcast and corporate video – translating complex briefs into tight, client-ready output under pressure.

It was a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, and I thrived on the deadlines. Clarity wasn’t optional, it was how you stayed hired.

When I shifted to writing full time, I brought that delivery mindset with me.

Since then, I’ve helped launch products, steer rebrands, guide teams, and sharpen positioning for dozens of companies – covering payments, KYC, fraud, compliance, embedded finance, and more.

Most of my clients come back. Or refer someone. Or message to say a post finally got a reply from the buyer they’ve been chasing.

How I work

No subcontractors. Just high-level, direct input – from me.

I don’t need hand-holding. I ask the right questions, read what your buyers read, and come up to speed fast. I’ve seen plenty of fintechs try to explain themselves, and I’ve learned what lands and what drifts.
