Just a few notes to help you decide if we’re a good fit.
Voice is the point
I don’t do safe. You’re hiring me for clarity, edge, and a point of view that potential buyers actually want to read. That means telling the truth (even when it’s awkward), ditching jargon, and writing with enough weight to actually move people.
If you’re after SEO filler, lightweight listicles, or white papers nobody reads – I’m not your guy. But if you want a house style that earns trust, sharpens your thinking, and makes you sound like you actually believe what you’re saying… then we’re in business.
I prefer long-term over scattergun
I’m not a blog post machine. I work best with fintechs who want to build a real voice and are willing to give me context, space, and trust to do it properly.
Ideally, I work with one company at a time on a “days-per-week” or “content-per-month” retained basis – almost like I’m in-house. I’ll learn your product, talk to your team, and shape content that fits how you sell and how your buyers think.
I don’t repackage the same frameworks for every client. I don’t flit between jobs. This is personal. I’d rather go deep than wide.
Collaboration matters
I don’t need hand-holding, but I do need access. To founders. To sales decks. To whatever truths your company is sitting on that haven’t made it to the front page yet.
The best results come when I’m looped into the right conversations – not drowned in Notion docs or subjected to six rounds of feedback from people who don’t know what they’re looking for.
Let me in early, and I’ll find the signal worth amplifying.
I don’t do committee copy
I’ll push back if I think an edit makes the piece worse. I’ll explain why if needed. If you want someone to keep every stakeholder happy, that’s not me. But if you care about clarity, substance, and saying something real – I’ll fight for the words that do it.
Pricing
I’m not cheap. If you’re here to “test the waters” with a single £200 blog post, we can skip that awkward email exchange now (Here’s why that math doesn’t work).
I do project work and retainers for serious fintechs who understand the value of strategic writing. If you’ve got funding, traction, or a clear mission – and need someone who can articulate it cleanly – I’m all ears.
Still here? We’ll probably get on
If you’ve read this far and thought “finally – someone who says it straight”, then yes, we’re probably a good fit.
My writing style is direct, but I’m easygoing in real life. No ego. Just a sharp pen, good instincts, and a genuine interest in helping your business grow.
If that sounds like what you need, get in touch. I always reply promptly.
