A few notes to help you decide if we’re a good fit.
Voice is the point
I don’t do safe. You’re hiring me for clarity, edge, and a point of view buyers want to read.
That means telling the truth (even when it’s awkward), cutting jargon, and writing with enough weight to move people.
If you want SEO filler, lightweight listicles, or white papers no one reads – I’m not your guy.
If you want a house style that earns trust, sharpens thinking, and makes you sound like you believe what you’re saying, we’ll work well.
I prefer long-term over scattergun
I don’t do scattergun content.
I work best with fintechs who want to build a real voice – and are willing to give context, space, and trust to do it properly.
I usually work on a “content-per-month” basis: a clear scope, one point of contact, and enough context to write like I’ve sat in the product room.
I don’t repackage templates. I don’t flit between jobs. I’d rather go deep than wide.
Collaboration matters
I don’t need hand-holding. But I do need access – to founders, sales decks, and the truths your company’s sitting on that haven’t made it to the front page yet.
The best work happens when I’m looped into the right conversations – not buried in Notion docs or caught in six rounds of feedback from people who don’t know what they want.
Let me in early, and I’ll find the signal worth amplifying.
I don’t do committee copy
I’ll push back if I think an edit makes the piece worse. I’ll explain why if needed.
If you want someone to keep every stakeholder happy, that’s not me.
But if you care about clarity, substance, and saying something real – I’ll fight for the words that do it.
Pricing
My standard packages start at £2,500.
That typically covers 3–4 high-leverage pieces – longform posts, case studies, or explainers – plus strategic input where needed.
Occasionally, I take on smaller one-off projects, but only when there’s a clear fit.
If you’re just looking to “test the waters” with a cheap blog post, I’d rather save us both the time.
Need a quote? Just drop me a line. I’ll give a straight answer.
FAQ
Q: Is this ghostwriting?
Yes, but not in the “please write me a post about open banking” way. I do deep research, and write in a voice that fits your brand or founder. No filler. No AI junk. No empty words.
Q: What kinds of writing do you do?
My speciality is long-form “pillar content” that gets shared in all the right places, drives traffic and ultimately turns prospects into buyers. I also cover:
- Product explainers
- Case studies (including client interviews)
- Thought leadership
- Landing pages
- Industry whitepapers
- Email sequences
- Press releases
Q: What if we want a lot of content?
I’m not the right fit. My work is for teams who care about sharpness, specificity, and durability – not volume.
Q: Do you do SEO?
Yes, but only as a layer, not the driver. Some of my best-performing posts get 10k+ organic hits. But that’s the side effect – not the brief.
Still here?
If you’ve read this far and thought “finally, someone who says it straight”, then we’ll likely get on.
My writing style is direct, but I’m easygoing in real life. No ego. Just a cleat head, good instincts, and a genuine interest in helping your business grow.
If that sounds like what you need, get in touch. I always reply promptly.
